We have a very special visitor with us this week! Grandma Mac came to stay with us! It has been such a blessing to have her here! Cali and Grandma share a special bond, plus they share birthdays!

I got to enjoy my birthday in St. John. There was a concert on the ocean! Great music! I have been getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things. Eating new foods, calamari, conch fritters, and some fish (which is a slow process) homeschooling, working from the boat and learning to navigate a yacht!

We are starting to meet other cruisers that started this new way of life around the same time as us! I am very grateful to start meeting families, sharing the experiences, and having a boating community, where we share ideas, lessons, and help each other in any way! We are all heading to Grenada for hurricane season.

Boat life definitely gives you more time to enjoy the little things, like family, friends, Sunsets are beautiful, the wind is gentle, and the ocean is full of life! I enjoy my mornings of sitting outside and listening to everything around me.

We went to several different bays in St. John. Our favorite was Maho! They had so many sea turtles and snorkeling was amazing!

Last night we took Grandma Mac on a sunset cruise. We put up the sails and watched the sunset. Absolutely beautiful!

Interesting moments!

In St. Thomas there are chickens that run around every where! Cali loves all the baby chicks that are around. However, she did discover that if you try to pick up a baby chick, momma gets very upset and will chase you away.

Nic caught a Mahi mahi! He cleaned it and we ate it for dinner. It was delicious and a great experience for him! He is also getting very proficient at helping raise the sails.
